In my example, command-1 opens TUAW, command-2 opens CNET, command-3 opens Apple and so on. PWAs run separately from Safari and lack some of the features of Safari, such as web extensions. When you load in Safari, the page signals that it supports PWAs, and thus Safari creates a PWA when it adds a bookmark for Twitter to your home screen. Once your bookmarks are organized, you can use the simple keyboard shortcut of command-number to open the associated bookmark. The bookmarked web page turns out to be a Progressive Web App (PWA).
